Easter!

We celebrated Easter last weekend, since this week our friends and family are all out of town, and the kids don't know any difference anyways. Plus, now we can watch conference, and focus on the true meaning of Easter this weekend!!
Saturday, I woke up, and we went running. We didn't get home until 9:15, and decided we would get ready really fast, and go to the Little Elm Easter party at the park. It said 10-2, but we never saw where it said the time of the Egg Hunt. So, we pulled in at 10:03, run to the place where the egg hunt is, and it's done. Parents had hundreds of eggs, some hidden in their baskets under the stroller! It was ridiculous the amount of eggs kids and parents were hoarding. Jaxon starts BAWLING, saying he just wanted to find some Easter eggs. So, instead we started walking around the park, went to the vendors, climbed on a firetruck, then ran into our friends in our ward Ashley and Craig! They had bubbles and a kite and invited us to stay and play with them. We are SO glad we did! The kids had a blast!

So, we decided since the kids were upset about the Easter egg hunt, we would do our own later that day. We went to Walmart, and bought wayyyyy too much stuff, and stuffed probably 100 eggs. (yes I know our kids are little lol). Then we had a party in Anita's backyard!

So, then on Sunday, we went to Nana and Boppy's house for a big Easter celebration. I really wanted to get a good picture of the kids in their Easter outfits, and my kids would not have it. We went to the singles ward, where my kids were CRAZY and we had to go in and out every like 5 minutes. It made me grateful for all the other loud kids in our own ward! haha. Then, the Easter bunny came, and Nana got them some presents too! They got a big water table, and other goodies!
Jaxon "I just want to put my hands right here on my legs and not smile"
Olivia "no no no no no no no"

 Easter bunny came!!!!
Then we played in the water table outside, and went to my mom's neighborhood Easter party! The kids even met the Easter Bunny! :)

And of course we dyed easter eggs! :) :) :)

  1. Looks like such a fun Easter! I can't stand community Easter egg hunts. People are crazy! I'm determined to never, ever go to one!
