Mexican Thanksgiving

Since I lived in Mexico when I was younger, we would spend Thanksgiving at the beach. We ate tacos, and invited friends, and had a grand time. We've sort of made it a tradition :) in the last 15 years, I think I've only had two normal Thanksgivings lol. 

This year, my amazing parents decided to keep the tradition going, and we went to Cabo! We were so grateful that they included us in the trip, and I know my kids loved all the time they had with their cool Uncle Ty. I will say, I missed my other little brother though.

So, here's our trip!

Well, it started out eventful, because Sunday morning around midnight Jaxon started throwing up. A lot. We were leaving around 9 AM! So, we washed his sheets, put him in the bath, then he laid on his nap mat with a bowl in the living room. He threw up quite a few times throughout the night. We gave him some zofran, brought some baggies, and headed to the airport. Our flight was uneventful, other than being delayed (thanks American) and we made it to Cabo! We had never been to Cabo, despite our many years being at different beaches around Mexico!

We got to the hotel Sunday afternoon, unpacked, and my mom and I went to Walmart for food. Our room was HUGE. It had stainless steel appliances and granite and didn't feel like a hotel at all! 

Everyone went to a sports bar to watch the Cowboys while I put the kids to sleep.

The next day was spent by the pool and beach all day. We went to a delicious italian restaurant for dinner. 

Tuesday morning the three guys went four wheeling and had a blast! But unfortunately, on the way home, Greg got sick. He was in bed the rest of the day. We hung out at the pool, and had an early night in while my parents and Ty got some tacos :) 

Wednesday, we played at the pool all morning, and then my mom and I got facials and massages! Boy was that amazing!!!!

Thursday, my dad rented two jet skis! This was by far my favorite part of the trip! We had them for an hour and got to drive them all out in the ocean! We rode up to the cruise ship, out to the arch, and just had so much fun! This is the dayTyler  decided to get sick :( 

We watched the football game in the room, watching the Cowboys blow it. Lol.

Then we went to a super cute Mexican restaurant for thanksgiving dinner! It was delicious, even though ty couldn't eat. We played games and went in the hot tubs when we got home :)

Friday, we went on a glass bottom boat tour over to lovers beach! We saw seals, crabs, fish, and it was just awesome!

Saturday we went to the pool then came home. My mom got sick hours after we got home. Thank goodness we weren't on the plane!

One more thing.

The hotel had a trolley. Jaxon was obsessed. We rode on it a lot, and watching his excitement over the "jolly" was just the cutest thing ever!

We had such a great thanksgiving despite all the illnesses :) Im so grateful for parents who love and support us in all that we do. My kids ADORE their grandparents, and I'm so grateful we live so close to them :) We are so thankful we got to come on this trip!
