Jaxon at 21 months!

This is the last month of Jaxon being an only child!!! Every hug and kiss and love I get from him, all I can think about is how hard a new baby is going to be on him! It makes me sad, but I'm so excited to be giving him a little sister to be his best friend! (Eventually?) 

At 21 months jax: 

- wears 18-24 month clothing

- size 4 diapers 

- maybe 24 pounds? Not sure but he's looking chunky!

- favorite foods: lucky charms, oatmeal, grapes, blueberries, rice and beans...

- favorite snacks: goldfish and fruit snacks

- Words he can say: mama, dada, nana, papa, go, yes, no, that, this, binky (inkey), again (gen), moo, yum, duck, dog, night night (nigh nigh), quack, baaaaa (like the noise a lamb says), baby, birdie (bibi)

- new words this month: doggie, bye bye, please (he will only whisper it! It sounds like a quiet "peas"), boo, socks, six (when I count he just says six, six, six...), all done (really he just says done)

- favorite toys: play dough, any type of ball, his cars, and books

- favorite books: the big pumpkin and brown bear brown bear

- every morning he is happy to give his bear and binky to Mickey in the crib, but by 5 pm or so he usually is begging for them, so he gets them. He also gets them for his nap and if we are out and about.

- he sleeps from about 7:30 pm to 8 am.

- he takes a nap from 11:30 or so to 1-2. 

- he has recently become OBSESSED with Tyler's band performance! He loves to go to the football games and competitions! And asks us to put the YouTube video of it on at least a few times a day. He marches and dances and hums along with it. 

- he loves Mickey Mouse... And may or may not be dressing up as him for Halloween!

- he rode a pony this month and loved it!!! He did it once and wanted to go again but on the bigger horse! 

But, he was scared of the pumpkin patch? (Although he thinks pumpkins are pretty cool now!)

- he is getting his bottom two canines in and is constantly chewing on his shirt or his fingers. So gross! His top canines finally are in!

- he is quite obsessed with Oliver. He wakes up and immediately wants to find the doggie... I think Oliver may hate him!

- once or twice a week we have been meeting up with friends to have a play date! Right now he really likes his friend Joshua. He's a few months younger than jax and they play so well together! We go to story time at the library and often play in the park! Jax loves any kind of swing!
