Jaxon at 20 months:
- He weighs around 23 pounds
- He is pretty tall for his age. Not sure how tall but I'm guessing 33 inches or so?
- He is skinny and has no butt. He should wear 12-18 months still, but they are all too short so we have to buy skinny jeans 18-24 month so they fit :)
- Size 4 diapers (we like the target brand)
- He went from a size 4 shoe in May, to a size 7 shoe now!!! Lets just say we've bought lots of shoes this summer!
- Words he can say: mama, dada, nana, papa, go, yes, no, that, this, binky (inkey), again (gen), moo, yum, duck, dog, night night (nigh nigh), quack, baaaaa (like the noise a lamb says), baby, birdie (bibi)
- Words he's learning: all done, more, up, loves, kisses, down, Mickey, bubble... I'm sure there are more but that's all i can think of right now.
- Signs: he uses the sign "more" for when he wants food :). He has recently started signing "play" and "outside" and "bath"
- He still sleeps 13 hours at night and usually takes an hour and a half - two hour nap right after lunch.
- Favorite Foods: pb&j, goldfish, pineapple, grapes, blueberries, lucky charms, oatmeal, and his new recent love is stuffed shells or lasagna!
- He's never been a cuddly baby but lately he gives "Loves" and "kisses" all the time! He also loves to snuggle with me when he's tired!
- He likes to play with his pretend kitchen and puts the dishes up to his face and says "yum"
- He is still very attached to his binky and bear. We have him put it in his crib in the morning and he leaves it there for most of the day (unless we are having a bad day)...
- He loves the doggie but is scared of him if he barks...
- He's terrified of flies. He literally cries his head off if there's one near him
- Favorite toys: fly swatter (hahah), play kitchen, media room couch, and all of his books.
- He loves pens and loves to put pen caps on and off of pens. Seriously obsessed.
- He likes to put his shoes on and will bring them to me to wear!
- Body parts he knows: hair, nose, toes, belly, pee pee, hand, and sometimes ears, eyes, and mouth...
- He loves nursery and hasn't shed a single tear! They say he's great!
- He likes to stand up on the counter top and we call him "king of the counter"
- He's super goofy and LOVES all the attention on him. If we are all eating around the dinner table and grandpa sits across from him he laughs, and shows off. It's adorable.
- We've been going to the library once a week for story time and he loves it! He loves to pick new books out. And they are teaching him some signs and dances!
- He hates haircuts
- He's the cutest kid I know!!!
